Transcription:
Mr. Han: You want to talk about it?
Li Fong: My mom wants us to leave everything behind.
Mr. Han: Sometimes it is the only way to move forward.
Mom: You come to America. New rules. New school. No
fighting.
Mom: You make any friends?
Li Fong: Yeah I did. One.
Mom: What¡¯s his name?
Li Fong: Mia.
Mia: You study Karate or something?
Li Fong: Kung Fu. Used to. I don¡¯t do any of that
anymore.
Mia: Yeah. You¡¯re clearly over it.
Connor: Who¡¯s your friend?
Mia: Connor, don¡¯t start.
Connor: You really want to do this?
Mia: You can¡¯t step to guys like him. He wins the 5Boroughs
every year. It¡¯s the biggest tournament in the city.
Mr. Han: In life you have only one question. Is it worth
fighting for it or not?
Mom: So we¡¯re just supposed to let him fight? So that
he can end up like his brother?
Mr. Han: So that he does not end up like his brother.
Mr. Han: Li means to me what you meant to Sensei
Miyagi. I want Li to learn Miyagi Karate.
Daniel: I¡¯m sorry Mr. Han I wish I could help you.
Mr. Han: You will.
Daniel: I¡¯m not coming to New York.
Mr. Han: I will see you in the Big Apple!
Mr. Han: Sensei LaRusso.
Daniel: Let¡¯s make a Karate kid.
Mr. Han: You have a foundation of Kung Fu.
Daniel: We¡¯re going to build upon that with Karate.
Mr. Han: Ancient way.
Daniel: Miyagi way.
Li Fong: There¡¯s two of them.
Mr. Han/ Daniel: Focus!
Daniel: This represents the history between the two
families. Two branches, one tree. This is why I came to train you. Remember
what you¡¯re fighting for.
Mr. Han: When you understand that, you will be ready.
